The new addition to Steel Business Briefing’s training programme, Steelmaking Raw Materials and Markets will be running its first session in London, this coming April.

With top class trainers and experience from our successful ‘How the Steel Market Works Training’, we are confident that this course will prove invaluable to those seeking greater expertise in the raw materials trade, including the steel making process, the economics of the sector, price risk management and futures and hedging.

During this 3 day course, trainees will learn:

  • how the steel industry drives the raw materials trade

  • about global and regional trends, including markets and pricing
  • what impact steelmaking raw materials has on global climate change
  • how price risk management can be used in your business
  • about hedging and how iron ore future can be used
